The Reich Executive Desk
30" × 72" | Black Walnut | Midnight Blue Textured Epoxy | Matte Black Steel Base
Some desks are where work happens. This one is where it's remembered.
Built for Sam’s executive office in Florida, this desk pairs a solid black walnut slab with a midnight blue epoxy river that runs the full 72" length of the surface — textured and dimensional rather than smooth, giving the resin the appearance of deep water or polished obsidian depending on the light. The natural sapwood edge of the walnut forms a warm, honey-toned border between wood and resin, a detail the slab offered and we were happy to honor.
At 30" deep and 72" long, the proportions are commanding without being oversized — exactly right for a working desk that needs to hold a monitor, a stack of files, and the focused attention of whoever sits behind it. The matte black U-leg base keeps the silhouette clean and modern, putting every ounce of visual weight on the slab where it belongs.
The installed photo says the rest. A Wall Street Journal feature, a New York Times front page, three decades of achievements on the wall behind it — and a desk built to belong in that room.
