The de Rosa Desk

Sarah reached out to me near the end of 2025 in hopes I could help her design the perfect desk for her husband. A bridge painter by trade, she wanted to build a desk that looked like a flowing river with a small, model bridge embedded in the resin that would serve as a visual connection between the two slabs of wood.

We used South American Brazilian Cherry for its gorgeous grain, and one side of the piece “waterfalls” to drive home the theme Sarah set out to capture. The final dimensions are 30” x 60” with a 30” waterfall edge and two Flowyline Yami legs to tie everything together!
